Generac Power Systems Technical Service Training Manager in Stockton, California

Instruct/Train technicians in all aspects of generator repair and installation.

Develop and present technical training curriculum.

Write and review internal technical documentation for ISO library.

Work with internal departments to fabricate training units.

Develop comprehensive training strategy to address internal and external needs and expectations related to asset performance.

Interface with the Factory technical support team on issues requiring high level support.

Interface with the Factory technical support team on warranty claims; provide information and support closing of claims in favor of Energy Systems.

Document and publish technical documents of findings to ensure lessons learned and new ways of working are being shared throughout the enterprise.

Conduct technician onboardings and trainings throughout the enterprise to ensure commonality amongst all branches.

Collaborate with Technical Support and Generator service teams to identify training needs within the enterprise.

Provide continuous feedback to the key stakeholders, branch managers, service supervisors, and VPs, on technician development and new training opportunities.

Sell, coordinate, and deliver internal/external training

Act as the single point of contact for technical support issues at Energy Systems.

Liaise between ES and the factory support team to drive resolutions to all technical support issues.

Lead monthly master technician – service supervisor calls for the enterprise.

Foster a collaborative relationship with factory subject matter experts to ensure ES is receiving the most up to date technical documentation, software, and changes to process.

Work with business leaders; service and operations managers, branch managers, VP/GMs, to develop and monitor local training plans/budgets throughout the enterprise.

Own the technician career path (TCP) process throughout the enterprise to ensure consistency and the most up to date processes throughout the Energy Systems enterprise.

Perform field audits of technicians throughout the ES service territory.

Travel throughout the ES territory to train, audit, and ensure alignment of all ES processes, procedures, and ways of working.

Support the sales and delivery of Energy Systems remote monitoring and technical support products and services.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
