Generac Power Systems Assembler - 1st Shift in Trenton, South Carolina

Uses work instructions drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment to perform assembly while complying with safe and effective operation standards of all equipment and tools.

• Follow established procedures, processes, or policies. • Demonstrates good attendance, quality, attention to detail and all safety policies. • Participate in team meetings to exchange job related information.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively communicate.

  • Contributes to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures.

  • Ability to understand and execute basic standard procedures.

  • Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.

  • Ability to perform basic assembly skills.

  • Ability to use basic hand tools.

  • Ability to interpret basic visual diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent • Manufacturing experience, including knowledge of manufacturing processes or related experience

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
